Er Nazir Yatoo Urges CM Omar Abdullah to Convene All Political Party Heads for Meeting with PM Modi on J&K Statehood Restoration

Budgam March 03 (KNS):  Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) General Secretary for Kashmir Province, Er Nazir Yatoo, has called upon Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to take a proactive approach in advocating for the restoration of statehood to Jammu & Kashmir.


In a strong and clear statement issued today, Er Nazir Yatoo emphasized the need for a united political front to address the concerns of the people of J&K. He urged CM Omar Abdullah to invite all political party heads—including those from the opposition—to collectively meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and present a joint appeal for the immediate restoration of full statehood to J&K.

"The people of Jammu & Kashmir have long been waiting for the return of their full democratic rights. He further reiterated that the unity of all political parties on this issue is essential, as it directly affects the governance, representation, and future of J&K. He called upon leaders across party lines to set aside political differences and work together in the best interest of the people.

"The time has come to put political rivalries aside and stand together for the greater good of our people. We hope that CM Omar Abdullah will take this initiative and lead an all-party delegation to meet the Prime Minister and press for the immediate restoration of statehood to J&K," he added.(KNS)
