Srinagar, Jun 07 (KNS): In response to the bail plea moved by winning candidate of Baramulla Lok Sabha Constituency Engineer Rashid in Patial House Court, National Investigation Agency (NIA) sought more time from the court to file its objections.

The Court has allowed the application of NIA and deferred the next hearing to June 18, however the Rahsid's Counsel was given the relaxation to move an urgent application if at all the Oath notification is announced by or before June 18.

Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Chander Jit Singh on Thursday had sought the response of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the case after his lawyer Vikhyat Oberoi sought interim bail or custody parole to take oath and perform other parliamentary functions.(KNS)
