Fire breaks out in Kulgam Forests

Srinagar February 16 (KNS): Fire broke out in the Banimullah Kulgam forest compartment number 27 yesterday evening, causing significant concern among the local community. The blaze quickly spread across the area, but the Forest Department Kulgam acted swiftly and arrived at the scene to contain the fire.

Forest employees on the ground confirmed that they successfully controlled the fire, preventing further damage to the forest ecosystem. "The situation was promptly managed, and the fire was controlled. We request everyone in the vicinity to remain cautious and avoid any fire-related activities in the forest," said a forest employee present at the scene.
