Srinagar, Dec 29 (KNS): Senior BJP leader of the Kashmir UT, G.M. Sheikh (Zab), on Monday held a meeting in New Delhi with BJP leader Sanjay Vaniyak Joshi Ji.

The meeting focused on issues linked to trade, business and labour welfare in Jammu and Kashmir.

G.M. Sheikh said that traders and small business owners from J&K face problems when working outside the UT.

He said that many traders struggle due to limited support, transport issues and less access to national markets. He also said that trade plays a role in J&K’s economy and needs attention in policy and support.

He also spoke on the welfare of labourers from J&K, especially migrant and daily-wage workers. He said that wages must be paid on time, workers should have access to social security schemes, and workplaces must be safe.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
