Srinagar, Nov 11(KNS): The Group of Concerned Citizens (GCC), J&K, in a meeting held in Srinagar, welcomed the return of democratic governance in Jammu and Kashmir following the recent Assembly elections.
The group expressed hope that the Central Government would take prompt action to restore full statehood, allowing the people of Jammu and Kashmir to benefit from democracy and its governance structures.

The GCC also welcomed the recent statement by the Chief Minister, who assured that his government would prioritize public welfare and good governance. The group appreciated the government’s commitment to working for the welfare and development of all regions, sub-regions, and communities in Jammu and Kashmir.
The GCC plans to seek a meeting with the Chief Minister soon to discuss various public issues of importance.(KNS)
