Srinagar, April 21 (KNS): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an order designating Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) as District Officers to enforce the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013.
According to Government Order No.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel505-JK(GAD) of 2025 dated 21.04.2025, the ADCs will exercise powers under Section 5 of Chapter III of the Act, ensuring its implementation across districts. The move aims to strengthen mechanisms for addressing workplace harassment complaints and safeguarding women’s rights. (KNS)
