Government Promotes 74 Officers to Administrative Service; 19 Designated as Deputy Secretaries

Jammu, Feb 19 (KNS): Government of Jammu and Kashmir has promoted 74 Junior Scale officers to the Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) under Government Order No. 262-JK(GAD) of 2025. The promotions, effective notional from January 1, 2025, and regular from February 7, 2025, aim to strengthen the bureaucratic framework across various departments.  


Among the promoted officers, 19 have been designated as Deputy Secretaries in their respective departments. These include Samrinder Singh, Deep Novel Kour, Mohd. Imran Naik, Azhar Amin Zargar, Mohit Raina, Pooja Rasgotra, Kritika Raina, Shurbhi Raina, Neha Bakshi, Sanam Mansoor, Irfan Manzoor, Snober Jameel, Raman Sharma, Tariq Ahmad, Sunil Sharma, Ravdeep Kour, Kawaljit Singh Bali, Esha Chib, and Parul Khajuria. These officers are expected to play a crucial role in policy implementation and governance reforms in their respective fields.  

The full list of promoted officers includes individuals from diverse backgrounds, reflecting the government's commitment to administrative efficiency. The officers who have not been designated as Deputy Secretaries will continue in their current postings until further orders. However, all promotions remain subject to the outcome of pending writ petitions in competent courts. (KNS)
