'Few individuals misleading youth, students under garb of reservation issue'

Srinagar,Dec 26 (KNS) :  Jammu: Minister for Education , Social Welfare and Education, Sakina Itoo today said that the Government has done its part for reservation amendment and the Council of Ministers has passed it and submitted the same to Lieutenant Governor for approval.


In a statement issued here, the Minister said that some people are misleading the youth and students on the reservation issue and unnecessarily calling shots on the Government. “These people are ignorant and mislead the youth. The role of the Government in the reservation matter has already been done and the Council of Ministers has approved changes related to it and submitted same to Lieutenant Governor for approval”, the Minister said.


She added that the persons who are misleading youth and students should go to LG office and ask for the status of the decision approved by Cabinet from there.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“If these few people need to protest, they should protest before the LG’s office, rather indulge in unnecessary criticism of the Government. Ironically, they feel inconvenient to protest before LG’s office”, Minister Sakeena said.


The Minister said that the young students shouldn’t get misled by hollow slogans against the Government by some individuals, as the Government has done its part and taken best decision in the interest of youth and aspirants. She added that these few individuals need to go to LG’s door and protest there, rather than raising false accusations against the Government as well as misleading the youth.
