Srinagar, Nov 24(KNS): Greentech Foundation spurred Corporate Social Responsibility at the CSR Summit and Awards 2023 in Sonamarg. In Central Kashmir's Ganderbal district, corporate minds converged from November 22-23, 2023, fostering safety and environmental stewardship.
Organized by Mr. Kamleshwar Sharan, CEO and Chairman of Greentech Foundation, the summit united professionals across sectors, emphasizing a collective vision for sustainability.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Sonamarg, the event aimed to initiate discussions and catalyze initiatives promoting sustainable practices within Corporate Social Responsibility. The inaugural day, graced by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Javid Ahmed Rather, focused on "Workplace Safety Culture," urging active promotion of safety within organizations.

The Greentech Foundation expressed optimism about the impact of collective efforts, anticipating significant contributions to the global dialogue on sustainability. Close to forty corporates and public sector units won awards for their unique and highly impactful CSR projects, spanning marginalized sections of societies, women empowerment, rehabilitation of the disabled, and conservation of heritage. The winners included Oil India Ltd, IREL, SJVN, NLC, Hindustan Unilever, Adani Port, JSW, SBI, Birla Cement, etc.(KNS).
