In a statement issued, Mir said that the government headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah remains fully committed to providing relief to the people and that serving the public remains its foremost priority.
He said the PDP, BJP and their like-minded parties were engaged in false propaganda and deceptive politics against the National Conference but the people of Kashmir are well aware of their true record. He alleged that these parties, acting together, pushed Jammu and Kashmir into a quagmire, dismantled the historic state and left no stone unturned in making its people dependent.
He emphasised that party workers must bring public concerns to the forefront and work to further strengthen the bond of trust between the party and the people. (KNS)
