Gulmarg, Mar 3 (KNS): The ski resort Gulmarg is set to host the second leg of the Khelo India Winter Games (KIWG) 2025 from March 9 to 12. With fresh snowfall blanketing the Gulmarg, the Jammu & Kashmir administration and the J&K Sports Council have assured full preparedness to deliver a world-class winter sports experience.
KIWG 2025, an initiative under the Khelo India program, aims to promote winter sports in India, offering athletes a competitive platform in one of the country's premier snow destinations. The event is being organized in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India (SAI), the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and the Ladakh Department of Youth Services and Sports.

Officials have assured that all arrangements, including infrastructure, safety measures, and athlete accommodations, are in place. The event is also expected to boost tourism and local economy in the region.
