Handwara, July 26 (KNS): As part of its continued efforts to build strong police-public relations and promote awareness among the youth, Handwara Police today organised a student outreach programme at Police Station Qalamabad.
Students from PM Shri Higher Secondary School, Sanzipora, were invited to the police station, where they were given a guided tour and an overview of various records, procedures, and equipment used in daily policing. The students actively interacted with police personnel and appreciated the initiative taken by Handwara Police to familiarise them with the functioning of the police system. The outreach programme aims to encourage transparency, inspire trust in law enforcement agencies, and motivate the younger generation to become responsible citizens.
Such community engagement activities are part of the broader vision of the Jammu and Kashmir Police to strengthen community policing and foster youth participation in civic awareness initiatives. (KNS)
