Hotelier Club Gulmarg Strongly Condemns Barbaric Terror Attack at Baisaran, Pahalgam

Gulmarg, April 22 (KNS): In a deeply anguished and strongly worded statement, Akib Chaya, President of the Hotelier Club, Gulmarg, has condemned the barbaric terror attack that occurred earlier today at Baisaran in Pahalgam. The attack, which has sent shockwaves across Jammu & Kashmir, has been described as a cowardly and inhuman act that has shaken the conscience of every peace-loving citizen and inflicted a deep wound on the soul of the valley.

Speaking on behalf of the entire hotelier and hospitality community across the region, Akib Chaya expressed heartfelt sympathies and prayers for the victims and their families. "We stand in absolute solidarity with those who have suffered unimaginable pain and loss in this senseless act of violence," he stated.

Chaya denounced the attack as a heinous and despicable crime, asserting that such acts of terror have no place in any civilized society. "These brutal assaults are the desperate attempts of misguided elements who are threatened by the return of peace, progress, and harmony in our land — a region that has long yearned for healing and normalcy," he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He further highlighted that the resurgence of tourism, growing brotherhood, and collective hope for a better future have once again started to define the new narrative of Jammu & Kashmir. "It is this spirit of unity and progress that threatens those who feed on fear and division," Akib Chaya added.

Calling for immediate and stringent action, he urged both the Government of Jammu & Kashmir and the Union of India to bring the perpetrators and their masterminds to justice without delay. "Justice must be swift and uncompromising. Our people deserve to live without fear, and such evil must find no refuge — not now, not ever," he emphasized.

The statement concluded with a powerful message of resilience and unity: "Let this tragic day further strengthen our collective resolve to stand together — stronger and more united — for a peaceful and prosperous Jammu & Kashmir." (KNS)
