Srinagar, Dec 13 (KNS) : Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi on Saturday addressed the Jammu Kashmir Civil Society Public Welfare Dialogue at Hat Trick Banquet Hall, Rajbagh, where he highlighted traffic congestion, air pollution and choked city roads as pressing civic issues.
In a statement issued, Inam said frequent traffic jams in Srinagar have become routine, severely affecting daily life and more critically, obstructing roads leading to hospitals. Inam also linked unregulated traffic, road congestion and illegal brick kilns to rising air pollution, warning of its impact on public health. Stressing the need for immediate corrective measures, he called for decongestion of key roads, strict regulation of traffic flow and priority clearance of hospital corridors.
He urged civil society to consistently raise these concerns and press for practical solutions in the larger interest of public welfare.(KNS)
