Handwara, Feb 28 (KNS): In yet another display of unwavering commitment to the people of Kashmir, Indian Army's Vilgam Army Camp swiftly came to the aid of Dilawar Malik, a local resident of Kenyal, Shah Mohalla, Vilgam whose home was severely damaged when a tree collapsed due to heavy overnight snowfall.
Early this morning, the distressed individual approached Indian Army Camp at Vilgam seeking assistance after the incident rendered a significant portion of his house inhabitable. Reacting swifily to the situation, troops from Vilgam Army Camp were mobilized to provide instant support. Additionally, essential supplies including food and medicines were provided to the family to help them to cope up with this situation. The swift and compassionate response by the Indian Army not only averted further distress to the family but also reinforced the deep bond of trust and camaraderie between indian Army and locals. The owner of tne affected house expressed his heart felt gratitude for Indian Army stating "In this harsh winter, when all the hopes went gloomy, Indian Army came for our help as a beacon of light from the end of a dark tunnell. I will be deeply indebted to them till my life.
