Karnah, Kupwara: In a remarkable show of patriotism and unity, the Indian Army, in collaboration with local schools, civil administration, and security forces, organized a grand Tiranga Rally in Karnah, Kupwara. The event witnessed active participation from students and staff of various schools, including Govt Girls Higher Secondary Tangdar, Iqbal Memorial Tangdar, and the two Army Goodwill Schools (AGS). The NCC unit Tangdar, led by Army official Iftikhar Lone, also took part in the rally.
The J&K Police, under the leadership of SHO Inspector Wasim Budoo, along with other policemen, ZEO Tangdar and Chamkote Shah Mohammad, cluster heads, and BSF officers, lent their support to the event.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The rally began at Army Goodwill School Tangdar and culminated at the Ground Helipad with a flag-hoisting ceremony. Shaista Ilyas, a gold medalist in Taekwondo, proudly raised the Tricolor, embodying the spirit of excellence and dedication that the event aimed to inspire.
The Shakti Vijay Brigade played a pivotal role in organizing the rally, which not only celebrated India’s unity but also promoted values of discipline and national pride among the youth.
