Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday condemned the killing of two non local labourers in south Kashmir's Shopian district, saying that security apparatus has been directed to launch coordinated counter terrorism operations.
In response to the Shopian attack, the LG said that hunt is on for the terrorists involved in the attack while the security apparatus has been directed to launch coordinated counter terrorism operations. "Words cannot adequately condemn today's barbaric terror attack on Manish Kumar & Ram Sagar from Kannauj, UP," he said.
He futher said that the district administration Shopian has deputed senior officers to make arrangements for transportation of the mortal remains to their respective villages with full honours.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"We have intensified our efforts to crush terrorists and terror ecosystem and have given full freedom to the security forces," the LG said, adding that terrorism is a curse for the civilised society. "People from every community must come together to condemn heinous acts and root out terror and its elements," Manoj Sinha said.
Notably, militants killed two non local labourers at their rented accommodation in the Hermain area of South Kashmir's Shopian district. (KNS)
