Srinagar, Oct 02 (KNS) : President Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian Jammu and Kashmir, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi, while addressing the Friday congregational prayers at Markazi Imambara Budgam, emphasised that Islam is a comprehensive system of guidance aimed at the welfare of humanity in this world and the hereafter.
In a statement issued, He said Islam not only acquaints human beings with their Creator but also defines their rights and responsibilities, with justice forming a fundamental pillar of Islamic social order.
Aga Syed Hassan explained that Islam distinguishes between Huquq Allah and Huquq-ul-Ibad, stressing that the fulfilment of people's rights carries profound religious significance. He said rights and duties are inseparable, as the establishment of a right upon one person creates an obligation upon another to fulfil it. He highlighted the rights of parents, spouses, children, relatives, neighbours, fellow believers, citizens and society, urging people to avoid oppression, injustice, backbiting, betrayal and violation of the rights of others.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He laid particular emphasis on the rights and dignity of parents, citing Qur'anic injunctions that command kindness, humility, respect and gratitude towards them. He said religious commitment cannot be confined to prayers and other acts of worship while neglecting the rights of parents and fellow human beings.
He also stressed the importance of maintaining family bonds and respecting elders, observing that the teachings of Ahl-e-Bayt (AS) place great emphasis on good conduct, family responsibility and social solidarity.
Calling for the practical implementation of Islamic teachings in daily life, Aga Syed Hassan urged believers to raise their families according to Islamic values and to make justice, compassion, mutual respect and fulfilment of rights integral to their personal and social conduct.
He stressed that the true spirit of Islam is reflected in the balanced observance of Huquq Allah and Huquq-ul-Ibad, warning that religious practice loses its essence when accompanied by disregard for the rights of others.(KNS)
