J&K CM to Inaugurate Srinagar’s Tulip Garden Today

Srinagar, Mar 25 (KNS): The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Asia’s largest, is set to open to the public today, with Jammu and Kashmir’s Chief Minister inaugurating the much-awaited event. The grand opening signals the start of Kashmir’s vibrant spring season, drawing tourists eager to witness the mesmerizing bloom of tulips against the scenic Zabarwan Range.


This year, the garden features 17.50 lakh tulip bulbs of various colors and species, along with a mix of other vibrant flowers, creating a breathtaking floral spectacle. To ensure a smooth experience for visitors, authorities have introduced an online and QR code-based ticketing system, available at Srinagar Airport, the Tourist Reception Centre, and several hotels.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Officials said this is the first time an extensive online ticketing facility has been introduced. Over the next few years, the plan is to transition fully to digital ticketing to manage crowds more efficiently and reduce congestion at entry points.

With tulips in full bloom and visitors arriving in large numbers, today’s grand opening marks the beginning of an exciting tourist season in Kashmir. (KNS)
