Srinagar, Oct 7 : The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday postponed the provincial holiday for the observance of "Urs Sheikh Noor-Ud-Din Sahib" in the Kashmir province.
According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the holiday will now be observed on October 9 (Friday) instead of the previously scheduled date of October 8 (Thursday).Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"In partial modification of Government Order No. 1894-JK(GAD) of 2025 dated 12.12.2025, it is hereby ordered that the provincial holiday... shall now be observed on 09.10.2026 (Friday) instead of 08.10.2026 (Thursday)," the order stated.(KNS)
