Srinagar Feb 03 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal Monday urged the government to alleviate the hardships faced by the people in the aftermath of heavy snowfall and rainfall across Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement released from the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha, Kamal commended the party MLAs for their efforts in assisting the people during the recent heavy rainfall. He also praised the government for their preparations for the month of Ramadan and their actions to alleviate the difficulties faced by the people in the snow-covered areas of Kashmir and winter zones of Jammu division.
Kamal noted that the response to weather-related challenges has improved significantly compared to previous years, with the administration promptly reaching out to those affected by heavy precipitation to restore normalcy.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe urged the administration to maintain this level of responsiveness and ensure that surface connectivity, basic utilities, and ration services are reinstated throughout Jammu and Kashmir.
Furthermore, Kamal emphasised the importance of party functionaries maintaining a strong connection with the people and addressing their concerns, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. “It is crucial for the party to continue supporting the community and providing assistance where needed.”he added.
