Srinagar, Sep 1(KNS): Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of prominent businessman, philanthropist, and esteemed personality of Shahre Khas , Khwaja Ghulam Qadir Kawoosa, resident of Nowhatta and presently of Nishat, Head of the Anjuman, Mirwaiz Kashmir Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, paid homage to the late Haji Ghulam Qadir Kawoosa, acknowledging his significant contributions to society and the business community, particularly in Shahre Khas .
Mirwaiz expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved sons of the deceased, Naseer Ahmad Kawoosa, Abdul Rauf Kawoosa, and Imtiaz Ahmad Kawoosa.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The funeral prayers of the late Kawoosa were held in the premises of the historic Jama Masjid Srinagar, with the participation of Anjuman Auqaf officials and members.
Subsequently, today a collective Fateha ceremony was held for the deceased at his residence attended by Maulana M.S. Rehman Shams, Mushtaq Ahmad Sufi, Altaf Ahmad Naqshbandi, Ijaz Ahmad, and Mukhtar Ahmad Shah, among others. They expressed condolences and solidarity with the family and loved ones of the deceased on behalf of the Anjuman (KNS)
