Bandipora, Aug16 (KNS): Kashmir News Service (KNS) Editor-in-Chief Mohammad Aslam Bhat, along with the entire editorial team, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the mother of renowned Islamic scholar and Rector of Darul Uloom Raheemiyyah, Bandipora, Moulana Rehmatullah Mir Qasmi.
In a condolence message, Bhat extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength for the family to bear the loss. "May Almighty Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and give patience and strength to the bereaved family," he added.

Prominent religious scholars, leaders, and members of civil society have visited the family and expressed condolence to the family.
They also expressed solidarity with Moulana Qasmi, a respected figure in Islamic education, known for his leadership at Darul Uloom Raheemiyyah—one of the leading Islamic seminaries in Jammu and Kashmir.
Several religious and social organisations have also issued condolence statements, highlighting the mother’s role in shaping the life of Moulana Qasmi and her contribution to the spiritual upbringing of a generation through her son’s work.(KNS).
