Srinagar, July 29 (KNS): Vice-Chancellor University of Kashmir Prof Nilofer Khan visited the Sub-Office of the University at Bhatindi Jammu where she inspected various facilities and student services.
Accompanied by Dean Academic Affairs Prof Farooq A Masoodi, the Vice-Chancellor visited the Guest House premises as well as the Distance Education Centre. She also interacted with the staff for a first-hand feedback about infrastructural facilities and services available to various stakeholders, especially students.
The Vice-Chancellor emphasised on quality upkeep of infrastructure and continued maintenance of the same.

The Vice-Chancellor was apprised that the Centre is being used for holding examinations of detenues from Jammu province and instructed that necessary facilities should be provided to the examinees.
The Vice-Chancellor also directed timely release of payments to various agencies involved in undertaking various works at the Jammu Sub-Office and called for providing round-the-clock power backup at its facilities.
She also laid stress on punctuality of staff without any laxity so the services being provided to students are not impacted in any manner.(KNS)
