Srinagar, Sept 07 (KNS): Lakes Conservation and Management Authority (erstwhile LAWDA) on Thursday organised Grievance Redressal Camp in which officers of the several wings of the department assured stakeholders to resolve their demands within a stipulated period of time.
The officers of the Mechanical Wing of the department had invited several people dwelling in the peripheries of Dal and Nigeen and took up their demands and listened them patiently. The dwellers who had been relocated years ago by authorities from Dal to Rakh-e-Arth flagged up their genuine concerns which include walkable road connectivity, adequate water and electrici issues and others and sought higher authorities intervention for their early resolution.
The officers present in the camp assured participants that their demands will be taken up with concern offices and the demands will be met on priority basis.
The camp was held at Dockyard (LCMA's Mechanical Division) situated at Foreshore road, Srinagar and was launched under Bharstachar Mukt J&K week which was started from September 04, 2023 and will be over September 10, 2023.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe aim of the camp was to redress the grievances of the people face to face and lot of grievances were resolved on spot. At the occasion, the people were assured of solving their pending grievances within a shortest possible period of time.
The officers who were present to redress the grievances were Manzoor Ali, Exen Lake Div 2nd; Shakil Fazili, Exen Mechanical; Mueed Ahmad, Exen Lake Div 1st; Ghazala Abdullah, Project Officer Watershed Division; besides all AEE’s, JE’s and other officials.
The camp was organised to make an awareness among masses that there should be zero tolerance to corruption in the offices and total transparency in the work culture, which would help in developing our nation in a better way. (KNS)
