Srinagar, Oct 24 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and extended warm Vijayadashmi greetings.
During the meeting, Lieutenant Governor Sinha expressed his festive wishes, saying, “Met Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji today and wished him a blissful Vijayadashmi,”
In a gesture symbolizing the cultural richness of Jammu and Kashmir, Sinha also presented a traditional offering known as 'Kong Posh,' comprising saffron flowers, to the Prime Minister on behalf of the people of the Union Territory.
An image shared on the official account of the Office of LG captured the moment when Lieutenant Governor Sinha presented a beautifully crafted Kashmiri Paper Machie bowl filled with saffron flowers to Prime Minister Modi.
According to KNS, in addition to his meeting with Prime Minister Modi, Lieutenant Governor Sinha held discussions with Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Railways, Communications, and Electronics & Information Technology.
“Their conversation encompassed a wide range of topics related to the information technology sector, with a particular focus on the implementation of Bharat Net Phase-III.
