LG Manoj Sinha vsits J&K’s first Chrysanthemum Theme Garden in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 1(KNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday visited Jammu and Kashmir’s first Chrysanthemum Theme Garden at the Botanical Garden in Srinagar.

Spread over 100 kanals, the garden has been developed by the Department of Floriculture, Gardens and Parks as a major autumn attraction for locals and tourists. The project is part of the government’s efforts to promote eco-tourism and enhance Srinagar’s floral landscape.

During his visit, the Lieutenant Governor took a round of the garden and reviewed the arrangements made for visitors. He appreciated the department’s efforts in developing the theme-based garden showcasing different varieties of chrysanthemums.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He was accompanied by Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor; Zubair Ahmad, Commissioner/Secretary, Department of Floriculture, Gardens and Parks; Akshay Labroo, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar; and other senior officials.

Officials said the Chrysanthemum Theme Garden is expected to boost local tourism and provide visitors with a new seasonal experience, adding to the city’s list of floral destinations.(KNS).
