Srinagar, Dec 8( KNS): Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed solidarity with the people of Syria and Palestine.

In a post shared on X, he hailed the potential fall of Syria's authoritarian regime as a victory for the people and an opportunity to rebuild their nation on the principles of democracy, justice, and equal rights for all.

Mirwaiz extended his prayers for peace, emphasizing the importance of justice and equality in rebuilding a fractured nation. He also drew parallels between the plight of the Syrian people and the ongoing struggle of Palestinians for liberation.
