Srinagar Feb 15 (KNS):  Youth JKPC President Mudasir Karim today appealed to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir to intervene and direct authorities to release the long-overdue retirement dues of 557 retired employees of J&K Cements Ltd.

The retired employees, who have been waiting for justice since 2012, are owed a staggering Rs 100.99 crores in retirement dues. Despite numerous meetings and representations, they continue to face bureaucratic hurdles and verbal assurances, leaving their hopes for justice shattered.

The statistics are alarming:

- *168 employees above 75 years* are struggling to survive
- *217 employees between 65-74 years* are fighting for dignity
- *172 employees below 65 years* are seeking a secure future
- *120 employees who dedicated 30+ years* passed away without receiving benefits, leaving families in dire financial circumstances
- *Each retired employee carries an average liability of Rs 10-90 lakh*

But it's not just the retirees who are suffering.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelTheir children, the youth of J&K, are also bearing the brunt.
