Srinagar, June 05 (KNS): In a crucial meeting held in Delhi, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) unanimously named Narendra Modi as the leader of the alliance.
This crucial meeting, which saw participation from all NDA parties, underscored the collective endorsement of Modi’s leadership as they prepare to form the new government.

Sources confirmed to news agency KNS that all NDA leaders handed over letters of support to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), signaling their unanimous backing of Modi.

The meeting was marked by expressions of satisfaction over the election results, with leaders celebrating the number of seats won.
The NDA, having secured an absolute majority in the Lok Sabha elections with 292 seats, is poised to form the government.

The BJP emerged as the single largest party, securing 240 seats and solidifying its dominant position in Indian politics. Despite this triumph, the Congress-led INDIA bloc proved to be a formidable opposition, winning 234 seats.

Sources aware of the developments said that the NDA is set to stake its claim for forming the government on Friday.

NDA leaders acknowledged the complexity of government formation, emphasizing the need for careful coordination.

On June 7, NDA MPs will convene to elect Narendra Modi as their leader, reinforcing his leadership ahead of the formal claim.

In a pivotal move, TDP unequivocally endorsed Prime Minister Modi's leadership, dispelling any speculations about alternative leadership within the NDA.

"It does take time for government formation, and we have decided to stake our claim on Friday," said an NDA leader, stressing the importance of thorough preparation.
