Budgam, 05 Sept (KNS): An important meeting of the Working Committee of the Central Zone of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference was held in Budgam today. The meeting was presided over by Provincial President Advocate Showkat Ahmad Mir and organised by Zonal President Ali Mohammad Dar.
The meeting was attended by Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq, MLA Eidgah Haji Mubarak Gul, senior leader Aga Syed Mahmood, MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar, MLA Khansahib Advocate Saif-ud-Din Bhat, Srinagar District President Peer Afaq Ahmad, Budgam District President Ghulam Nabi Bhat, Ganderbal District President Sheikh Ghiyas-ud-Din, Batamaloo Coordinator Mir Umar, Youth Wing Provincial President Mir Mushtaq and other party functionaries.

The meeting reiterated the National Conference’s resolve to continue its struggle for the restoration of the constitutional and democratic rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. A resolution was unanimously adopted, reaffirming the party’s commitment to continue its struggle for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status while continuing to raise the demand for Statehood, rationalisation and balancing of the reservation policy at every appropriate forum.
The meeting further resolved that the party would utilise every constitutional and democratic forum to pursue the political, constitutional and democratic rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.(KNS)
