Srinagar, February 14 (KNS): A large group of political activists and workers from Kot Bhalwal, Jammu, joined the Apni Party today at a special event organized at the party office here. All the new entrants were formerly associated with the National Conference (NC).
According to a press release, these workers quit the NC after realising that the party has failed to deliver on the promises it made during the election campaign.
“In a special event organised at the Apni Party office in Jammu, the party’s Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir, gave a warm welcome to the new entrants and assured them that the party would prove to be a reliable platform for them to serve the people in their respective areas,” press release said.
The new entrants included Mumtaz Khan, Parvez Khan, Farooq Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad, Rafiq Ahmad, Azmi (Mangwar), Saqib Ali Shah, Shehroz Mushtaq, Mohammad Shehzad, Asif, Wasim, and others.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Besides Ghulam Hassan Mir, the prominent party leaders who were present on the occasion included party General Secretary Vijay Bakaya, Provincial President Jammu Manjit Singh, Former Lagislator and District President Kupwara Raja Manzoor, Additional General Secretary Arun Chibber, State President SC Wing Bodh Raj Bhagat, President Trade Wing Aijaz Kazmi, Vice President Youth With Wing Vishal Narania, General Secretary Youth Wing Abhay Bakaya, Senior Vice President District Jammu (Urban) Vaibhav Mattoo, Vice President Women Wing Neelam Gupta, Provencial Secretary Women Wing Sheetal Sharma, District President Minority Wing Dalbir Singh, Davinder Gill, Farooq Chouhan, Divansh Sharma, and others.
