NIA says it has arrested another Kashmiri aide in Red Fort blast

New Delhi, Nov 17(KNS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday arrested another key associate of the terrorist involved in the Red Fort area car bomb blast that killed 10 people and injured 32 earlier this month.

Officials said the accused, Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, a resident of Qazigund in Anantnag district of Jammu & Kashmir, was taken into custody from Srinagar by an NIA team probing case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.

According to the agency, preliminary investigations suggest Jasir had allegedly provided technical support for terror activities by modifying drones and attempting to fabricate rockets in the run-up to the attack.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe NIA said he was an active co-conspirator and had worked closely with the main accused, Umar un Nabi, in planning the blast.

The agency said it is continuing to examine multiple angles to determine the wider conspiracy behind the bombing. Several NIA teams are following leads and conducting searches across different states to identify others linked to the attack.(KNS)
