Srinagar, September 19(KNS):The Nigeen Lake Conservation Organisation (NLCO) expresses deep sorrow and grief over the passing of M. Shafi Pandit Sahab, IAS (Retd.), former Chief Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir, a statesman, and a true son of the soil. His departure leaves an irreplaceable void.
"Pandit Sahab was not just an accomplished personality but a true environmentalist at heart. He was a mentor, a guide, and an inspiration to countless individuals, including all of us at NLCO. His commitment to environmental conservation was evident through his active involvement in our initiatives” said Manzoor Wangnoo Chairman NLCO. Wangnoo remembered his contributions to NLCO’s mission and his dedication to the environment in the statement issues and said that he will forever be cherished and remembered. Chairman NLCO expressed grief and stated that “We have lost a great soul, but his legacy will continue to inspire our ongoing efforts for conservation and environmental restoration.”
"May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and give his family and loved ones strength in this difficult time” prayed Wangnoo for the departed soul. (KNS)
