Srinagar, May 16 (KNS): Apni Party Vice President Usman Majeed on Friday claimed that Omar Abdullah is contesting the North Kashmir seat reluctantly and does not seem enthusiastic about the elections.

Speaking to reporters during Sajad Lone's visit to Bandipora, Usman said that Omar Abdullah appears to be contesting this election under duress. He doesn't even seem to know which areas fall under his constituency. It seems NC has already accepted his defeat.

Usman further criticized Abdullah's lack of preparation, suggesting that he should have done his homework before entering the race.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"It looks like the National Conference has already conceded defeat," he added.

Commenting on Sajad Lone's campaign, Majeed expressed confidence in Lone's victory. "The turnout for today's rally shows that Sajad Lone's win is certain. The enthusiasm of the people here reflects his strong support," Majeed stated.

He contrasted this with Omar Abdullah's rally the previous day, which he described as lackluster. "You saw people leave his rally with a sense of sadness," Majeed concluded.(KNS)
