Bandipora, May 17 (KNS): Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader and former MLA Gurez, Faqeer Mohd Khan, stated on Friday that if the National Conference had carried out any development in Gurez Valley in the past 70 years, Omar Abdullah wouldn't need to visit the area to seek votes.

Speaking with reporters at his residence in Gurez, Khan said that most people in Gurez will support Sajad Gani Lone in the polls on May 20.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He believes Lone is the only candidate who can raise and fulfill their demands in parliament.

Khan highlighted the hardships faced by the people of Gurez Valley. He noted that the lack of road tunnels and other basic facilities forces many to migrate to urban areas, even in the 21st century.(KNS)
