The leadership expressed its appreciation for PDP legislators’ efforts during the recent assembly session, where they voiced public concerns and championed issues central to the region. This commitment aligns with the founding vision of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the PDP’s late founder, who emphasized connecting with public aspirations and addressing their needs within the legislative framework.

A major discussion point was the plight of Jammu and Kashmir’s youth, who face high unemployment and challenging reservation policies. The PDP leaders conveyed their deep concern for young people struggling to find career opportunities and called for a more equitable reservation policy that supports deserving candidates. Mehbooba Mufti emphasized the party’s commitment to advocating for these changes to empower the younger generation and contribute to a more prosperous future.

Reaffirming the PDP’s mission, Mufti highlighted the party’s dedication to standing with the people, particularly the youth, in their pursuit of justice, dignity, and a hopeful future. The PDP remains committed to advocating for the aspirations of Jammu and Kashmir, as it works to foster a brighter tomorrow for all residents.(KNS).
