Srinagar, Nov 08(KNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday criticized the Congress-NC alliance after a resolution opposing the revocation of Article 370 and restoring Jammu and Kashmir's special status was passed in the first session of the newly elected assembly by a voice vote.
Modi called it a “conspiracy against Kashmir.” Speaking at a public rally in Maharashtra’s Dhule, he said, “As soon as Congress and INDI alliance had the chance to form a government in Jammu and Kashmir, they began their conspiracies against Kashmir… Two days ago, they passed a resolution in the J&K legislative assembly to restore Article 370.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
The resolution, passed on Wednesday, was supported by all parties except the BJP. Modi also mentioned that BJP MLAs were removed from the assembly after protesting against banners supporting Article 370. "Banners were displayed in the J&K assembly in support of Article 370. The Congress alliance passed a resolution to reinstate it. When BJP MLAs protested, they were removed. The country needs to understand the truth about Congress and its alliance," Modi said.(KNS).
