Srinagar January 01 (KNS): Police in Awantipora alongwith security forces have arrested four terrorist associates of proscribed terror outfit JeM in Tral area.
The arrested terrorist associates have been identified as Mudasir Ahmad Naik son of Farooq Ahmad Naik resident of Tral Payeen, Umar Nazir Sheikh son of Nazir Ahmad Sheikh resident of Kuchmulla, Inayat Firdoos Rather son of Firdoos Ahmad Rather resident of Tral Payeen and Salman Nazir Lone son of Nazir Ahmad Lone resident of Kounserbal Tral. Incriminating materials have been recovered from their possession.
It is pertinent to mention here that, all the arrested terrorist associates were involved in providing logistics support and transportation of arms & ammunition to the active terrorists of proscribed terror outfit JeM in Tral and Awantipora areas.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
In this regard, a case vide FIR No.134/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Tral and further investigation has been initiated.(KNS)
