New Delhi, January 25 (KNS) : In a distinguished ceremony at the Republic Day Camp 2026, Honourable Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh today awarded the prestigious Raksha Mantri Padak to Senior Under Officer (SUO) Arpun Deep Kour of the 3 Jammu & Kashmir Battalion, National Cadet Corps (NCC), Baramulla.
SUO Kour was recognized for her exemplary duty, exceptional service, and unwavering discipline displayed during 'Operation Sindoor'. The operation involved coordinated relief activities for displaced populations from border villages in North Kashmir's Baramulla district.
Faced with a humanitarian crisis, SUO Kour demonstrated remarkable leadership in coordinating and executing relief efforts. She provided timely assistance to the affected civilians with notable compassion and dignity, ensuring their welfare was prioritised.
