Shopian March 11 (KNS): It is with deep sorrow that we inform the sad demise of Mr. Abdul Rehman Bhat uncle of  Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, IAS, Director Sericulture J&K and father of Dr. Tariq Ahmad Bhat, HoD Medicine, JVC (SKIMS) Bemina, who passed away today at Srinagar in the early morning hours and was laid to rest in ancestral graveyard at Shopian where a large number of people participated in his Nimazi Jinazah.

Abdul Rehman Bhat was a revered figure known for his immense contributions to the education sector. He served as Tehsil Education Officer in the Education Department where he played a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape.
