Meets scores of delegations at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar
Srinagar, July 26 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar Saturday met a number of delegations at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.
Delegations raised issues ranging from civic concerns to development-related grievances. Sagar assured them of timely resolution and promised to take up the matters with the relevant departments.
As part of the ongoing outreach initiative by the National Conference, the party is actively engaging with the public at grassroots level to understand and address their concerns. Senior leaders and cabinet ministers are holding regular public interactions across the region to ensure that voices from every corner are heard and responded to.
During the meeting, Sagar also joined the chorus with other party functionaries in seconding the Chief Minister’s call for a transparent time bound inquiry into the killing of Mohd Parvez in Niki Tawi, Jammu.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe termed the incident “deeply unfortunate and regrettable,” stressing that the use of force by law enforcement must be responsible and proportionate.
Reiterating the need for accountability, he supported the call for a transparent and time-bound investigation. “Incidents like these have caused lasting damage in the past. We cannot afford a repeat,” Sagar said.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Provincial President (Kashmir) Showkat Mir, State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, party’s provincial and district functionaries were present on the occasion. (KNS)
