Sajad Gani Lone Expresses Condolences on the Demise of Former DIG Sheikh Hafeez Akhtar

Srinagar, Feb 28 (KNS): People's Conference Chairman Sajad Gani Lone has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Kashmir & Ladakh, Sheikh Hafeez Akhtar, who passed away in Srinagar earlier today.


In his condolence message, Lone extended his sympathies to the bereaved family, particularly Sheikh Sarmad Hafeez, Commissioner Secretary for Youth Services and Sports, his brother Dr. Shibli, and their cousin Sheikh Junaid Mehmood, DIG. “The passing of Sheikh Hafeez Akhtar is a great loss. My heartfelt condolences to Sarmad Hafeez and his family. May Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and give strength to the bereaved family in this difficult time,” Lone said.
