People’s Conference Senior Vice President and former Cabinet Minister Abdul Gani Vakil expressed serious concern over the massive damage caused by heavy snowfall in Rafiabad and strongly criticised the Omar Abdullah Government for its failure to manage the situation.
Vakil said that Rafiabad has been without electricity for the last two days, and even hospitals are functioning without power supply, exposing the poor preparedness of the Omar Abdullah Government. He said the administration failed to take timely precautionary measures despite weather warnings.
