Tariq Karra Criticizes BJP's Governance in J&K


Srinagar, August 20 (KNS): Stating that the Jammu and Kashmir still faces the challenges despite the party's claims, Congress President Tariq Karra on Tuesday expressed strong criticism of the BJP's governance in J&K.

Talking to reporters here at Jammu, he said that the BJP promised that milk and honey would flow, and militancy would end. They claimed development would be visible from the airport to the palace. But where is the milk and honey? Where is the development?, he questioned.

Karra said that party's focus must now shift towards the upcoming elections. "Our primary responsibility is to strengthen the party and its roots," he said.

Karra urged the people to hold the BJP accountable for their unfulfilled promises and to focus on the upcoming elections as an opportunity for change.(KNS)
