Tourism Revival in Focus, Will Bounce Back Stronger: J&K CM Omar Abdullah

Srinagar, May 28 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday reaffirmed the government’s commitment to reviving tourism in the region, declaring that Kashmir is once again open for visitors.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), he said that 'Our effort is to send out a clear message that Kashmir is open for tourism'. 'The Pahalgham attack was deliberate aimed to hit our tourism industry, but those behind it have failed.”

He said that the government is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety and convenience of tourists.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“We will take the required steps and implement all necessary measures. Whatever support is needed, we will secure it,” he added.

The Chief Minister acknowledged that some areas remain closed but expressed optimism about the situation improving. “A review will be conducted, and I am fully hopeful that we will gradually lift the remaining restrictions,” he said.(KNS)
