Srinagar, Aug 20 (KNS): Early morning tremors shook different parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, causing brief panic among residents. The first jolt, which lasted for a few seconds, was felt around 6:45 a.m., followed by another tremor at approximately 6:50 a.m.

According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel9 and occurred at 06:45:57 IST. The epicenter was located at latitude 34.17 N and longitude 74.16 E in the Baramulla district, with a depth of 5 kilometers.

No immediate reports of damage to property or loss of life were reported from any area in the region. (KNS)
