Srinagar, Jan 25 (KNS): The Indian Railways has commenced the trial run of the first Vande Bharat train from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Railway Station Katra to Srinagar, bringing a wave of excitement among passengers.
The train has been specially designed to withstand the cold climate of the Kashmir Valley, ensuring passenger comfort and operational efficiency.
The Vande Bharat train will traverse two significant engineering marvels—the Anji Khad Bridge, India’s first cable-stayed rail bridge, and the Chenab Bridge, the world’s highest railway bridge. A video of the trial run has also surfaced, highlighting the train's journey through the picturesque landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.
