Srinagar Feb 19 (KNS): The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq, stated that the government led by Omar Abdullah is committed to working with a vision of participatory and collaborative planning to foster development and address public issues.

He emphasized the importance of involving the public in decision-making processes to ensure that policies are reflective of the needs and desires of the people. “This commitment to public participation demonstrates a dedication to transparency, accountability, and responsiveness, ultimately leading to a more inclusive and democratic governance system," he said.

Later in the day, he made a visit to the Leper colony at Bharar in Lalbazar, where he interacted with patients and locals. Upon hearing their grievances, he assured them that he would personally take up the matter with the Chief Minister and Health Minister for redressal. He promised to uphold their dignity and vowed to stand by them through thick and thin.(KNS)
