Srinagar, Oct 7 (KNS) President of Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi al-Safavi, has expressed profound grief over the demise of renowned educationist, social worker and devoted Anjuman functionary Muhammad Shafi Mir, conveying heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and all those mourning his passing.
Aga Syed Hassan described the demise as a significant loss to the educational, social and organisational spheres, stating that Muhammad Shafi Mir dedicated a major part of his life to the promotion of education, welfare of underprivileged sections and community service. He also served as Secretary of the District Committee of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Budgam, and remained a sincere, loyal and active worker of the organisation. Paying tribute to his educational contribution, Aga Syed Hassan said that as Chairman of RMP School, Magam, Budgam, the deceased played an important role in strengthening educational opportunities, particularly for children from economically weaker and underprivileged families. His commitment to education, social welfare and selfless service earned him respect across the community.
Aga Syed Hassan prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul the highest place in His mercy and Jannat-ul-Firdous, accept his religious, educational, social and community services, and grant patience, strength and reward to the bereaved family, relatives and all those associated with him.
